Strategy name
Choose a clear, descriptive name for your strategy. Since you'll likely have multiple strategies for different situations, a good name makes it easy to tell them apart at a glance, especially when assigning them to listings.
Some examples of helpful strategy names:
- "Aggressive Buy Box - US"
- "Conservative Profit - Canada"
- "FBA Products - Max Margin"
- "Clearance - Beat All Competitors"
- "Premium Brand - Stay Above"
- "Walmart US - Beat by + Win Buy Box"
- "Shopify - 30% Profit Margin"
Description
Add an optional description to remind yourself (or your team) what this strategy is designed for and when it should be used. For example: "For slow-moving inventory. Beats the Buy Box by 2% to increase velocity. Use for products older than 90 days." This is especially helpful when multiple team members manage strategies.
Region
Select which channel region this strategy targets. A region is a specific marketplace or store within a channel. Some examples:
Amazon regions
- amazon.com (United States)
- amazon.ca (Canada)
- amazon.com.mx (Mexico)
- amazon.co.uk (United Kingdom)
- amazon.de (Germany)
- amazon.fr (France)
- amazon.it (Italy)
- amazon.es (Spain)
- amazon.co.jp (Japan)
- amazon.com.au (Australia)
- And 11 more across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
Walmart regions
- walmart.com (United States)
- walmart.ca (Canada)
- walmart.com.mx (Mexico)
Shopify regions
Each connected Shopify store becomes its own region, identified by its shop domain (for example, "your-store.myshopify.com").
Each strategy applies to one region at a time. If you sell in multiple regions, you'll typically create separate strategies for each, since pricing dynamics, competition levels, and customer behavior differ by market. You can also set a default strategy per region that automatically gets assigned to new listings.
