What you'll find here
Profile settings let you manage your personal account details. Everything here applies to your user account across all organizations you belong to. Navigate to Settings > Profile to access this page.
Display Name
Your display name appears in the sidebar and is visible to other team members in your organization. To change it, simply type a new name into the field. Changes save automatically as you type (there's no Save button). If you leave the field and come back, you'll see your most recent name.
Your display name can be up to 100 characters. If you clear it, other members will see your email address instead.
Your email is used for signing in and receiving notification emails. You can change it, but since your email is also your login credential, the process requires verification.
Here's how changing your email works:
- Type your new email. Edit the email field and either press Enter or click away from the field.
- Enter the verification code. A modal appears asking for an 8-digit code that was sent to your current email address. This confirms you control the account.
- Check the new email. After entering the code, a confirmation link is sent to your new email address. Click the link to finalize the change.
If you close the verification modal, the change is cancelled and your email stays the same. You can also click "Resend code" if the original code doesn't arrive.
Timezone
All dates and times throughout the platform are displayed in your selected timezone. Pick your timezone from the dropdown, and the change saves automatically. The list includes all standard IANA timezones (for example, "America/New_York" or "Europe/London").
If you haven't set a timezone, Repricing.app defaults to your browser's timezone.
Member Since
This read-only field shows the date your account was created. It's displayed in your selected timezone format.
Good to know
- Auto-save everywhere. Display Name and Timezone save automatically when you make changes. There are no Save or Submit buttons on this page.
- Profile is account-level. Your display name, email, and timezone apply across all organizations you're a member of. Changing your name here updates it everywhere.
- No avatar upload. Your avatar is generated automatically based on your initials. There's no option to upload a custom profile picture.
