Team Management

Manage your team by inviting members, assigning roles, removing access, and handling pending invitations from the Team settings page.

What you'll find here

The Team page lets you manage who has access to your organization. You can invite new members, change roles, remove people, and view pending invitations. Navigate to Settings > Team to access this page.

There's no limit on team size. All subscription tiers support unlimited team members.

Viewing your team

The team page shows a unified list with two sections:

  • Active members. People who've accepted their invitation and can access the organization. Each row shows their avatar, name (or email if no name is set), role, and the date they joined.
  • Pending invitations. Invitations that have been sent but not yet accepted. These appear slightly faded. Each row shows the email, assigned role, and when the invitation expires.

The member count at the top includes both active members and pending invitations.

Inviting a new member

Owners and Admins can invite new members. Managers and Analysts don't see the invite button.

  1. Click "Invite" in the top-right corner of the team section.
  2. Enter their email and select a role. The available roles depend on your own role. Owners can assign any role. Admins can assign Admin, Manager, or Analyst.
  3. Click "Send" to send the invitation email.
  4. Share the link. After sending, the dialog shows a copyable invite URL. You can copy this link and share it directly (for example, via Slack or chat). The invitee can use either the email link or the URL you share.

Invitation links expire after 7 days. If someone doesn't accept in time, you can resend the invitation to generate a fresh link.

What happens when someone receives an invitation

When the invitee clicks the invitation link:

  • If they already have an account and are logged in with the correct email, they'll see the invitation details and can accept it immediately.
  • If they're logged in with a different email, they'll be prompted to sign out and switch to the correct account.
  • If they don't have an account, they'll need to create one using the email the invitation was sent to.
  • If the invitation has expired, they'll see a message explaining the link is no longer valid.
  • If the invitation was cancelled, they'll see a notice that it's been revoked.

Managing pending invitations

For each pending invitation, Owners and Admins can:

  • Resend email. Sends a fresh invitation email and resets the 7-day expiration.
  • Copy link. Copies the invite URL to your clipboard so you can share it manually.
  • Cancel. Revokes the invitation. The link will no longer work.

Changing a member's role

Owners and Admins can change roles for other members. Click the role label on a member's row to open a dialog where you can select a new role. The change takes effect immediately.

There are a few restrictions:

  • You can't change your own role. Another Owner or Admin must do it for you.
  • Only Owners can demote other Owners. Admins can't change an Owner's role.
  • The last Owner can't be changed. Every organization must have at least one Owner.

Removing a member

Owners and Admins can remove members from the organization. Click the remove action on a member's row, then confirm in the dialog. Removed members lose access immediately.

You can't remove the only Owner, and you can't remove someone who is the billing contact. To remove the billing contact, first transfer billing responsibility to another Owner.

Transferring billing contact

The billing contact is the person whose payment method is charged for the subscription. Only the current billing contact (who must be an Owner) can transfer this responsibility, and only to another Owner. This option only appears when there are multiple Owners.

Leaving an organization

At the bottom of the Team page, there's a danger zone where you can leave the organization. This removes your access immediately. To rejoin, someone will need to invite you again.

You can't leave if you're the only Owner or the billing contact. Transfer those responsibilities first.

Roles reference

Below the member list, there's a roles and permissions reference table showing exactly what each role can do. For a detailed breakdown, see Roles and Permissions.
