What is a repricing schedule?
By default, repricing runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A repricing schedule lets you limit when the repricer is active, restricting price changes to specific days and hours. Outside the scheduled window, the repricer pauses and your prices stay wherever they were when the window closed.
The schedule is configured in the Safety Nets step of the strategy wizard. It's available for all channels.
When to use a schedule
Most sellers leave repricing running 24/7, but there are good reasons to use a schedule:
- Business hours only. If you want someone monitoring prices while the repricer is active, limit it to your working hours so you can react quickly if something unexpected happens.
- Skip weekends. Some categories see less competition on weekends. You might prefer to hold your weekday prices instead of responding to weekend fluctuations.
- Time zone alignment. If you sell on a marketplace in a different time zone, schedule repricing to run during that marketplace's peak shopping hours.
- Testing new strategies. When rolling out a new strategy, running it only during business hours gives you a chance to monitor results before going 24/7.
Configuring a schedule
In the Safety Nets step, toggle Enable schedule to turn on scheduling. Four settings appear:
Active days
Select which days of the week the repricer should be active. You can pick any combination. The default when enabling a schedule is Monday through Friday.
From (start hour)
The hour when repricing starts each active day. Uses a 12-hour format with AM/PM (for example, 9 AM). The default is 9 AM.
To (end hour)
The hour when repricing stops each active day. Same format. The default is 5 PM.
Timezone
The timezone that the start and end hours are based on. Available options:
- Eastern (ET)
- Central (CT)
- Mountain (MT)
- Pacific (PT)
- London (GMT)
- Paris (CET)
- UTC
The default timezone is Eastern (ET).
Example
If you set Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, Eastern Time, the repricer will:
- Be active from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET on weekdays, adjusting prices normally according to your strategy.
- Be paused outside those hours (evenings, nights, and all day Saturday and Sunday). During paused periods, your prices stay wherever they were when the schedule window closed.
Good to know
- The schedule is per strategy. Different strategies can have different schedules. For example, you might run an aggressive Buy Box strategy only during business hours but let a conservative strategy run 24/7.
- When the schedule is disabled (the default), repricing runs continuously with no time restrictions.
- The schedule controls when the repricer adjusts prices. Data syncing (competitor prices, Buy Box status, etc.) continues regardless of the schedule, so the repricer always has fresh data when the window opens.
- If you need to pause repricing entirely for a listing (regardless of schedule), use the pause toggle on the listing detail page instead.
