Sales Report

Track revenue, units sold, orders, and average order value across all channels with daily trend charts, regional breakdowns, and day-by-day tables.

What the Sales Report shows

The Sales Report gives you a clear picture of your revenue and order performance over time across all connected channels. It answers questions like "How much did I sell last week?", "Which region is driving the most revenue?", or "Are my sales trending up or down?"

Open it from the Reports dashboard by clicking the Sales card.

Overview

At the top of the report, four summary cards show the headline numbers for the selected date range. All currency values are displayed in your organization's reporting currency.

  • Total Revenue. The sum of all gross merchandise value (GMV) for the selected period. This is the total value of items sold before any deductions.
  • Units Sold. The total number of individual units sold across all orders in the period.
  • Total Orders. The number of individual orders received.
  • Avg Order Value. Total revenue divided by total orders. This tells you the typical purchase size. If there are no orders, this shows zero.

On smaller screens, values switch to a compact format (for example, "$519K" instead of "$518,771") to fit within the card layout.

Revenue Trend

Below the summary cards, an area chart plots your daily gross merchandise value over the selected date range. The horizontal axis shows dates and the vertical axis shows revenue amounts.

Each data point represents one day's total revenue. The chart always displays daily granularity regardless of the date range selected. Hover over any point on the chart to see the exact revenue amount and date for that day.

The chart line uses smooth curves with a shaded area underneath, making it easy to spot upward or downward trends at a glance.

Revenue by Region

This section shows how your sales are distributed across the marketplaces where you sell. A horizontal bar chart displays one bar per connected channel region (for example, Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk), ranked from highest to lowest revenue.

Each bar shows the region name on the left and the revenue amount on the right, formatted in your reporting currency. This helps you quickly identify which marketplaces are driving the most sales and where there might be room for growth.

If you have not yet recorded sales in any region for the selected period, this section shows a "No regional data available" message.

Daily Breakdown

At the bottom of the report, a detailed table breaks down your sales performance day by day. Each row represents one day, with the following columns:

  • Date. The calendar date, displayed in a short format (for example, "Jan 15").
  • Revenue. Total gross merchandise value for that day, displayed in your reporting currency.
  • Units. Number of units sold on that day.
  • Orders. Number of orders received on that day.
  • Avg Order Value. That day's revenue divided by orders. Shows zero if there were no orders that day.

By default, the table sorts by date with the most recent day at the top. You can click any column header to re-sort. The table also supports column filtering, column reordering, and density controls (compact, standard, or comfortable).

Filtering the report

Use the filter bar at the top of the report to narrow your view:

  • Date range. Choose from preset ranges (Last 7 days, Last 14 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Month to date, Quarter to date, Year to date, or All time), or select a custom start and end date using the calendar picker.
  • Channel. Filter by a specific sales platform (for example, Amazon).
  • Account. View sales for just one seller account. The list of accounts updates based on the selected channel.
  • Region. Focus on a specific marketplace region. The list of regions updates based on the selected channel and account.

Filters cascade from left to right: selecting a channel narrows the available accounts, and selecting an account narrows the available regions. All filters default to "All", showing data across everything. Your filter selections are saved in the URL, so you can bookmark or share a filtered view.

Currency handling

All monetary values in the Sales Report are converted to your organization's reporting currency. If your organization sells in multiple regions with different currencies, the system uses exchange rates to normalize everything into a single currency for comparison.

If your organization sells across multiple regions, currency codes (for example, "USD") are shown alongside values to make it clear which currency is being displayed.

You can change your reporting currency in Settings.

Practical tips

  • Compare before and after strategy changes. If you switched a group of listings to a more aggressive strategy, compare the week before and the week after. More Buy Box wins should translate into more sales.
  • Watch for seasonal patterns. Use longer date ranges (90 days or Year to date) to identify seasonal trends. This helps you plan inventory and pricing adjustments ahead of peak periods.
  • Drill down by region. The Revenue by Region chart quickly shows which marketplaces need attention. Use region filters to then view the daily breakdown for that specific marketplace.
  • Pair with the Profitability Report. Revenue alone does not tell the whole story. A listing might generate high sales but thin margins. Always cross-reference with the Profitability Report to make sure your sales are actually profitable.
