Inline editing
One of the most convenient features of the listings grid is inline editing. You can update pricing fields directly in the grid without opening each listing individually. Just click on any editable cell, type the new value, and press Enter or click away. The change saves automatically.
Editable fields in the grid
- Cost. Your cost per unit. This is used to calculate profit, ROI, and to set cost-based price floors in your strategies.
- Manual Price. Override the repricer and set a specific price for a listing. When set, the repricer uses this price instead of calculating one from the strategy.
- Min Price. The lowest price the repricer is allowed to set. This field is only editable when the assigned strategy's price floor is configured as "Manual". If the strategy uses a cost-based price floor (ROI or Margin), the min price is calculated automatically from your cost, fees, and target profit percentage. In that case, the cell becomes read-only and displays an "AUTO" label with a tooltip showing the formula and breakdown.
- Max Price. The highest price the repricer can set. The repricer won't go above this, even if there are no competitors.
- MAP. Minimum Advertised Price. If your supplier or brand requires a minimum advertised price, enter it here. The repricer will respect it.
- MSRP. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. This is a reference value you can use for reporting and analysis.
- Strategy. Change which repricing strategy is assigned to a listing using the dropdown in the strategy column.
Editing from the detail page
You can also edit all pricing fields from the listing detail page. This is helpful when you want to see the full context of a listing while making changes:
- Click any listing in the grid to open its detail view.
- Go to the Pricing tab.
- Update any field. Changes save automatically.
Bulk price updates
Need to update prices for dozens or hundreds of listings at once? The fastest way is to use the Import module. Prepare a spreadsheet with your SKUs or channel product IDs (e.g. ASINs) and the pricing columns you want to update, then upload it as a CSV or Excel file. The system matches each row to the right listing by SKU or channel product ID and updates the values for you.
Column matching
When you upload a file, the system automatically tries to map your column headers to listing fields. It normalizes names by removing spaces, special characters, and converting to lowercase, then compares them against a set of predefined aliases. For example, a column named "Min Price", "min_price", "floor_price", or "minimum_price" will all automatically map to the Min Price field.
If your column headers don't match any of the recognized aliases, the auto-detection won't find a match and you'll need to manually assign each column to the correct field in the mapping step. To avoid this, name your columns using common names like "SKU", "ASIN", "Cost", "Min Price", "Max Price", "MAP", "MSRP", or "Manual Price".
Important things to know
- All prices are displayed and stored in the currency of the listing's region. For example, listings on Amazon.com are in USD, Amazon.ca in CAD, Amazon.co.uk in GBP, and so on.
- The repricer always respects your min and max price boundaries. It won't set a price outside those limits.
- If you don't set a min price manually, the strategy's price floor settings calculate one based on your cost and desired margin. If neither is set, the repricer skips that listing to avoid selling at a loss.
- Changes made in the grid take effect immediately. The repricer uses the new values on its next pricing cycle.
