Understand the four roles in Repricing.app: Owner, Admin, Manager, and Analyst, and see exactly what each one can access.

How roles work

Every team member in your organization has one of four roles: Owner, Admin, Manager, or Analyst. Roles determine what a member can view and do across the platform. The person who creates the organization is automatically the Owner.

Role overview

  • Owner. Full access to everything, including billing, organization management, and the ability to delete the organization. Every org must have at least one Owner.
  • Admin. Can manage listings, strategies, channels, and team members. Can't access billing or delete the organization.
  • Manager. Can edit listings, strategies, and upload data. Can't manage channels, team members, or access billing.
  • Analyst. View-only access across the platform. Can see listings, reports, pricing activity, and analytics, but can't modify anything.

Who can assign which roles

When inviting someone or changing a member's role, the roles you can assign depend on your own role:

  • Owners can assign any role: Owner, Admin, Manager, or Analyst.
  • Admins can assign Admin, Manager, or Analyst. They can't promote someone to Owner.
  • Managers and Analysts can't invite members or change roles.

Good to know

  • Billing is Owner-only. Only Owners can view the billing page, see plan details, or manage payment methods. Admins, Managers, and Analysts don't have access to billing at all. If a non-owner navigates to billing, they're redirected to the dashboard.
  • At least one Owner required. The last remaining Owner can't be demoted or removed. Transfer ownership to someone else first.
  • Role changes are instant. When you change someone's role, the new permissions take effect immediately.
  • The Team page shows a live reference. The roles table at the bottom of Settings > Team shows the complete permissions matrix so you can check access without leaving the page.
