Subscription management fixes

Managing your subscription is now smoother and more transparent. We have improved the cancel flow, fixed issues with mid-cycle plan changes, and made payment method updates more reliable.

Step-by-step cancel flow

Canceling your subscription now walks you through a clear, step-by-step process directly in your Billing settings. First, you see what you would lose by canceling (active repricing strategies, scheduled price changes, and historical data retention). Then you can choose whether to cancel immediately or at the end of your current billing period. A final confirmation step prevents accidental cancellations.

Mid-cycle plan changes

Upgrading or downgrading your plan mid-cycle now works correctly in all cases. When you upgrade, you only pay the prorated difference for the remaining days in your billing period. When you downgrade, the credit from unused days on your current plan is applied to the new plan. Previously, certain edge cases around the end of a billing period could result in incorrect charges, which has been resolved.

Payment method updates

Updating your credit card or payment method is now more reliable. The system validates the new payment method before replacing the old one, so you will not accidentally end up with an invalid card on file. If you have a past-due invoice, updating the payment method automatically retries the charge.

Clearer billing history

Your billing history now shows prorated charges with a clear breakdown of how the amount was calculated. Each line item explains the period covered, the prorated amount, and any credits applied from a previous plan.
