Keeping your cost prices in sync between Shopify and Repricing.app used to require manual updates in both places. Not anymore. Cost prices now sync automatically in both directions, so your profit calculations are always accurate no matter where you make changes.
How bidirectional sync works
When you update a product's cost price in Repricing.app, the change is automatically pushed to your Shopify store. And when you update cost in Shopify (or your supplier updates it through an app), it syncs back to Repricing.app.
This means your profit margins, price floors, and profitability reports always reflect the real cost of your products, without any manual data entry.
Why this matters for repricing
Your repricing strategy relies on accurate cost data to enforce minimum profit margins. If your cost in the repricer is outdated, the system might set prices too low (cutting into your margins) or too high (making you less competitive). With bidirectional sync, this problem goes away.
Improved product data sync
Beyond cost, we have also improved how product data syncs with Shopify overall. Region names update automatically when Shopify markets change, product IDs are formatted consistently across your listings, and product images from Shopify now load reliably with updated CDN support.
